Anvilfire.com
An excellent resource for the beginner to advanced smith. This is the place to begin.
Don Fogg knives
One of the best sites available on the internet. Check out the Bladesmith's Forum.
5 Elements Forge
Another local smith- like-minded and likeable.
Utilikilts
What's hotter than 100 degrees ambient temp, 100% humidity and a forge at 2100 degrees? Nothing!! Smith in comfort and style!
Iforgeiron.com
a little "weird" at times, but there is some good info here.
Old World Anvils
Not the local guys, but certainly a great value and the parent company has been around since 1865!!
Lindsay books
purveyors of all books wacky and weird. Lots of great books that they've reprinted- now that the copyrights are expired and most of
the original publishers are long out of business.
Lively Knives
Some good info on this site. I ordered the video and while I don't agree with everything that's said or done, you can NOT beat $30
for two hours of knife making instruction. If you follow his instruction, you will have a usable knife when you're finished.
TaiGooknives.com Some of the finest bladesmithing available. Tai can be seen on this video along with Tim Lively (different from
video above).
Northwest Blacksmith Association. The name says it all!
BudgetCastingSupply.com Excellent guy. Has a lot of what you'd need for sand castings. Best price on silicon bronze (Everdur) that
I've been able to find
Foundry101.com A great place to learn about sand casting and they have everything you need to make the molds (no metals, see
above). They make it look easy!
The Invoker My wife's website. Began to promote and store ideas for and about her book "The Invoker". It's now a seasonal calendar and sort of "bloggish" without being made with preforms (all hand coded XML!)
Travelers Tea Co India is brought back in huge boxes a couple times a year by Travelers Tea Co. They also bring Tibetan and Indian culture to Seattle with frequent performances by Tibetan artists and appearances by Tibetan Holy Men. Incenses, oils and an enormous list of herbs can be found in the shop. Plus they have the best tasting, most authentic Chai around!
Homebrew Heaven I've just discovered thses guys but I'm very impressed. Their ingredient kits are extremely well thought out- everything is premeasured and no hidden costs/extra stuff to buy to "make it work".
ThePipeRoom.com As the name implies this is the pipe room. A fair selection of all wood "churchwarden" or "wizard" pipes. Fine home blend tobaccos, also.
OutWestTobacco.com Excellent prices on internationally known tins and bulk pipe tobacco. A fine gent to work with.
